Tom DeMine celebrates fifth anniversary at DeMine Immigration

     FORT MYERS, Fla. (Jan. 15, 2025) – On Jan. 16, 2020, Tom DeMine joined forces with his wife Indera to add another DeMine attorney to the name of the immigration law firm. This year, he will celebrate his fifth anniversary as partner.

     In the last five years, Tom has helped hundreds of clients successfully navigate the complex immigration system. Now, both of the DeMine’s not only work as partners at DeMine Immigration, but also handle married life and raise two sons in Southwest Florida. They help their clients achieve their American dreams as they live out their own. 

     “Working together with Indera to build and grow the DeMine Immigration Law Firm over the past five years has been an incredibly rewarding journey,” said Tom DeMine. “We have had the privilege of helping countless individuals and families turn their dreams into reality.” 

     Tom DeMine has 19 years of experience practicing law and five solely in immigration law. He began his legal career as a Prosecuting Attorney with the State Attorney's Office in Lee County, and in 2008, reached the most jury trials in the entire felony division.

     After three years as a prosecutor, DeMine entered private criminal defense practice and over the next decade, represented thousands of clients for nearly every crime imaginable. However, 14 years later, he chose to focus exclusively on immigration law and bring his experience to his wife, Indera’s firm of DeMine Immigration. 

     “Tom brought invaluable courtroom and litigation expertise to the firm, honed through his experience as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney,” said President Indera DeMine. “Over the past five years, his exceptional business acumen and leadership have transformed the organization.” 

     He earned a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and a juris doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law. Tom DeMine’s vast knowledge of the law has grown the firm’s presence, stature and distinction in the Southwest Florida community.
