From supervising paralegal to U.S. airman
David Mora leaves DeMine Immigration to join Air Force
FORT MYERS, Fla. (Jan. 29, 2025) – David Mora, supervising paralegal, leaves behind a lasting legacy at DeMine Immigration. In early February, he will embark on a new chapter as he begins to serve the U.S. in a career with the Air Force.
Mora leaves for bootcamp shortly as he has joined the Air Force reserve to build his connections. He will be in the reserve for the next six years and although he aspires to go to law school in that time, he is also open to the different opportunities that military life may offer him.
“The air force focuses on leadership and I believe that in the years that I have worked at DeMine Immigration, I have learned how to lead,” said Mora. “The biggest impact DeMine Immigration has had on me as a person is the characteristic of humility. I have seen this in the way that Indera and Tom treat us, as another member of their family.”
Mora’s story within DeMine Immigration is a testament to hard work, dedication and growth. He started as a legal intern during his time in school at FCGU, but quickly proved himself and was hired as a legal assistant.
Within just two years with the firm, Mora rose to the role of supervising paralegal. In this position, he oversaw the dedicated team of legal assistants and paralegals. From assigning cases to addressing client concerns, he ensured that all of the legal work ran smoothly and efficiently.
“Throughout the past two years, I’ve met wonderful people, especially my coworkers, bosses and leaders,” said Mora. “My experience here at DeMine Immigration has helped me because I have built my professionalism and a character that I think will improve my military career. I’m so thankful to DeMine Immigration for the opportunities I have had here.”
