This week we celebrate nine years of serving immigrant families across Southwest Florida and beyond. Since opening our doors in 2016, DeMine Immigration has grown into a trusted firm known for advocacy, results, and community support.

  • From Temporary to Permanent: We helped a Canadian family of six transition from an L-1A visa to permanent residency through an EB-1 Multinational Executive approval.
  • Relief After Decades: A Mexican national finally secured legal status after 30 years in the U.S. through Cancellation of Removal.
  • Overcoming Barriers: Our team won multiple waivers, including a Miami trial success and a pro bono waiver plus residency granted in just five days.
  • Business and Professional Visas: From E-2 investor visas like a hairstylist opening her own salon to L-1 and H-1B approvals, we continued helping entrepreneurs and skilled workers build their futures.
  • Redemption Stories: Under the Carecen settlement, we reopened a decades old deportation order for a Haitian mother, clearing her path to residency.

Community and Recognition 

We remain committed to education and outreach. This year, President Indera DeMine spoke at a Know Your Rights event to equip families with essential information. The firm was also named a 2025 Best of Florida Award winner in the Immigration Law Firm category.

 

Our Team

This year we celebrated promotions for Supervising Paralegal Ana Maria Oliver and Office Manager Claudia Velez, and recognized the work of our Legal Assistants Krystal Gutierrez, Mabel Diaz, and Valeria Santoyo.

We welcomed Marketing Coordinator Samuel Sotelo, launched free legal screenings in Lehigh Acres with David Mora, and added new team members Receptionist Julissa Hinojosa in Lehigh Acres along with Legal Assistants Cassandra Deanda and David Ortiz in Fort Myers.
