Are you a foreign investor in the USA? Be sure to verify your renewal status.
If you’re investor visa is about to expire, the idea of renewing it may feel overwhelming. However, with the right
guidance, the process may seem surprisingly simple.
This September, at DeMine Immigration, two clients renewed their E-2 visas, and both were granted!
In most cases, re-applying for an E2 visa requires returning to your home country, such as our client, a British
National, who returned to London for her E-2 renewal interview.
In this case, information about client’s business, finances and plans for the next 5 years were requested by the
consulate. If you are an investor looking to re-apply, please contact us for guidance on all these required details.
Once complete, the consulate approved this E-2 renewal case.
Depending on the case, an E-2 applicant may request third country processing of their case.
Another client, a German National, applied to renew their E-2 visa through the U.S. consulate in Toronto.
As it was his first application through Toronto, we were required to present an E-2 packet as a “first-time
applicant”. This did not present an issue, however, and the visa was approved seamlessly.
